Cupboard

Cup"board (kŭb"bẽrd), n. [Cup + board.] 1. A board or shelf for cups and dishes. [Obs.] Bacon.

2. A small closet in a room, with shelves to receive cups, dishes, food, etc.; hence, any small closet.
